GOOD FIGHT · PARTICIPATION
Train with care.
Know what you’re signing.
Training agreement and participation consent for Justin Lockwood, trading as Good Fight.
The training
Good Fight teaches martial arts and self-defense through physical exercise and supervised partner practice. Activities may include balance and movement, punches and kicks, throws and takedowns, joint locks, grappling, falling, and controlled contact. Exercises and intensity are introduced and adjusted by Justin.
Understanding the risks
Physical training involves risk, even with supervision and reasonable care. These risks include bruises, cuts, sprains, strains, falls, joint injuries, and, less commonly, serious injury. Contact with partners, equipment, or the floor may cause injury. No training can guarantee personal safety or a particular result.
Taking part safely
The student agrees to follow instructions, use the agreed level of contact, respect training partners, and stop immediately when asked. They can decline an exercise or stop at any time. They should tell Justin if something hurts, feels unsafe, or is beyond their ability. Techniques must not be tried on others outside supervised training.
Before each class
Please tell Justin privately about any injury, illness, limitation, or change that may affect safe participation. Ask an appropriate healthcare professional for advice if you are unsure about taking part. Do not train while unwell or impaired by alcohol or drugs. This agreement does not require a guarantee of perfect health.
For parents and guardians
For a student under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete this agreement. By signing, you confirm you have authority to give permission for the named student to participate, have explained the relevant rules to them, and will keep the contact details up to date. Parents are welcome to observe; please let Justin lead the coaching.
If someone is hurt
Tell Justin immediately about an injury or incident. If urgent assistance is needed, Justin may contact the emergency services and the emergency contact provided. This does not authorise non-emergency medical treatment or override the student's legal rights.
Responsibility and your rights
Participation is voluntary and you acknowledge the ordinary risks described above. This agreement does not exclude or limit liability for negligence, injury or death caused by an act or omission of Good Fight or Justin Lockwood, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. It does not waive the student's or parent's statutory rights.
Information and photographs
Good Fight uses the registration details to arrange training, manage the membership, and contact you about the class. Read the privacy notice for further details. This agreement gives no permission to publish photographs, videos, or the student's name. Any such permission would be requested separately.
Monthly membership
Good Teens costs €60/month for one 90-minute class each week. The first payment is taken at checkout, and payment renews on the same date each month until cancelled.
There is no minimum term. Cancel before your next monthly payment to stop the next renewal. Your place continues until the end of the period already paid for.
The monthly fee reserves a place in the weekly group. Missed classes do not become credit or carry forward. Planned holidays can be discussed with Justin in advance; any flexibility must be agreed beforehand.
These terms do not limit statutory withdrawal, refund, or other consumer rights, including where Good Fight cannot provide the agreed training.
Version 2026-10-30-1. Please ask Justin about anything you do not understand before signing.
